Meet Sviatoslav, It’s Never Too Late to Start

In an industry that can change as rapidly as tech, workers 45 years and older sometimes see their age as a barrier to employment, promotions and larger career transitions. It can be intimidating to shake things up when you already feel established in your role and organization, and it can feel impossible to make a career jump later in your professional life.

But, 74% of mid-career workers who transition into tech found that relevant training helped them secure new positions. At Generation USA, our goal is to provide not only the training and technical skills necessary to equip learners for success, but also provide the personal support and guidance that allows our learners to feel empowered and confident in their decisions from application to graduation and beyond.

Generation Learner Sviatoslav Pechenevskyi shared how he found himself embraced by the GenUSA culture and environment since joining the Junior Web Developer cohort. He has used the program to finally “realize his dream of becoming a Web Developer.”
