Casino Dealer Career Training Baltimore

Learn the skills you need to build a career in casino services.

The casino dealer program trains individuals 18 years and older for high-demand casino professions while providing support services and mentoring. After completing the program, graduates are guaranteed an interview with Generation’s employer partner, the Horseshoe Casino. Graduates also receive a continuing education credit from the Community College of Baltimore County and a Maryland Gaming License, all at no cost.

Phone Interview

In-Person Interview

Generation wants to support you and connect you to resources that will help you focus on learning. We will use this time to learn about your living situation, background, and child care needs. We'll also go over the program requirements, times, and dates of class.

Orientation

Meet the instructor and program manager. You'll receive the program handbook and fill out more forms, such as a media release. This is a time where the Generation team reviews what will happen over the course of the program and you'll participate in fun icebreakers!

Have earned a high school diploma or GED
Be at least 18 years old
Be able to work in the U.S.
Pass a federal and criminal background check
Pass a drug screening
Be proficient in English
Be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (~4 hours)
Be able to to lift up to 50 lbs

What is a Casino Dealer?

Masters of game rules and customer service, casino dealers run the interactive game tables at casinos for games like Blackjack and Poker. As a casino dealer, you'll have the chance to meet and interact with people from around the world while also applying fast math skills to keep the game, and the fun, going.
